I had a undercover wear party that closed on 11/15/2006, the agent Erin Cameron @ 740-891-0659 was irresponsible from the beginning, on the invites it listed Campbell instead of my street name which is CampHill. I was advised at my party that anyone who purchased over $100 in items would get a hotel voucher and I would also receive a gift certificate for throwing the party. My party was closed and paid for by 11/12/2006, however, the agent held on to my order until 11/27/2006, I called the company they stated they would overnight this order for me once it was processed so I could get my items. I finally got my items on 12/12/2006,it was not anonymous, I had to bag all items myself personally and the bill inside the box did not list them individually so I had to further embarrass people by asking what they purchased because my agent never once returned any of my phone calls. I then sent my gift certificate in to my agent on 12/20/2006, I waited for my items and called my agent several times with no response, finally after calling and leaving multiple messages, I get my order on 02/19/2007, keep in mind I get my order without a return call back from my agent almost a full two months later, now I have been contacting my agent because the hotel voucher for an order being over $100 has not been sent or received by the person in my party who spent the required amount of money needed to earn a hotel voucher. The agent had sent a new girl named Andrea Henderhahn to my party to throw it, this was a new girl, inexperienced, she had no games or no agenda to entertain my guests, my invites were wrong and this company will just let anyone sell their products without any recourse to them for not getting anything right. Both the new girl and my agent Erin Cameron has been irresponsible, lacking in a professional manner and untrustworthy as agents for a company who prides themselves in their ordering. All I want is my hotel voucher, everything has been paid for and received after a few trying months, I am not trying to get something for my months of dealing with this company nor am I trying to get something for nothing, I want what my guest at my home was promised for spending her hard earned money.

Hey Tracey, My name is Jenny. I am an UnderCoverWear Agent. I can tell you for a fact. This is NOT how a party is done. #1 Sounds like there was little communication going on between the both of you to begin with. That is the first problem. If i don't get communication and a guest list from my hostess, I will NOT do the party! Why? Cases like this can arise. If i can't get a hold of you. I will still have the guests names and numbers and can get them their items in a timely manner. #2 Sounds like there are two agents working this? Maybe someone signed Andrea up and gave her the lead in your area. Maybe it was her first party. That is why when "I" Sign a girl up, I Skype her in one of my parties so she can see how it is done. I also coach her and train her hard for a week or more so that she may understand how to do a fun show with good results. I have access to anyone she has done a party for and always check with the hostess to see how she did. Hostess coaching is just as important as Agent training! Making my customers feel welcomed, excited and satisfied is my goal. Honestly, NOT all UnderCoverWear agents are bad. Actually, we have the BEST reputation around. If you research this, You will see that. I would honestly not put down a entire company over one bad job done. I Would report the person, not the company. As i have done this a LONG time, and it is my sole income. I would NEVER treat a customer poorly. I have a VERY good reputation. This sounds to me like a case of bad agent training and poor communication skills which is rare. If you have any questions or comments you can send them to me. I would be happy to take care of anything you need.

How the Agents should have handled this situation & response to closing comments

From what it reads like, Andrea wasn't trained properly prior to your party being held which resulted in a very poor represention of the products, the company and in turn (I'm assuming) made you embarassed for having your friends over for what should have a relaxing, exciting and extremely fun in home shopping experience. As Team Leader Erin should have provided training and assistance to Andrea - even offering to co represent UndercoverWear by coming with Andrea to your show to make sure Andrea was 100% prepared & that the company was represented fully.

Okay, Here's how the business relationship between you, Andrea & Erin should have developed from the start: 2 to 3 weeks prior Invitations should have been sent along with a copy invite being sent to you with a reminder letter or confirmation type letter; stating what to you can expect the night of your party, etc and thanking you for becoming a hostess. Not every Agent sends a copy invite or a confirmation letter; however, you should have been at the very least contacted 2 to 3 weeks prior to be informed that the invites were sent & you should have known well in advance what would take place the night of the party. Since a mistake was made on the invites - a corrections set of invites should have been sent or the Agent should have personally called each of the invited guests and apologized for the mistake, given the correct address & personally invited them to your party. A week or so prior, the Agent should have provided you with a face to face review of the hostess program, providing you with a set of catalogs, special offers and sales forms for outside orders. I don't know what the hotel voucher agreement is all about. I believe this incentive is something offered by the individual agents and I KNOW it's not an incentive offered by UndercoverWear - the Agent should have made sure everyone attending the party understood clearly what the guidelines were for the hotel vouchers and you should have received a copy of the guidelines prior to the party. The day prior to your party, the Agent should have called to confirm her arrival time, asked how guests you were expecting & if you had any questions or concerns. At the party, she should have had an agenda - I use index cards and I've been representing UndercoverWear for 2 years...lol - to keep her on track, make sure every detail is covered & to keep the party rolling. Definately what should have been explained is that everyones orders would be coming together and that you would be sorting & distributing the orders. You also should have received a copy of each guest order form that night in order to know what was ordered. For my parties, I actually have the orders come to me (the Agent), I sort them, add a thank you note & invite for future bookings and I take all the sorted & bagged orders to the hostess. This way I have a final chance to thank her for hosting and if there's any concerns we can address them right away.

You should have been made aware of any problems or concerns with your party. Efforts should have been made on behalf of the Agent to keep the guests happy & keep cancellations from being made. I 1/2 wonder if they cancelled because their orders wouldn't be private?
The Gift Certificate is another incentive offered by these individual Agents, not UndercoverWear, you should have be given the guidelines before your party and known when you would receive this incentive.
Above all, you should have had fun and it doesn't sound like you did at all.

I understand you're upset over being treated unprofessionally and I believe you have every reason to be upset; however, I was offended by your closing comments: "I would watch throwing any party with undercoverwear, because any women not mature enough to get out of her house and get a real job and do nothing but throw parties and still cant handle that, probably shouldnt even have a job."

Many of the women AND men who are Agents for UndercoverWear are doing so in their spare time, as additional income, to pay a few bills and do not solely depend upon their earnings from UndercoverWear. There are also a fraction of UndercoverWear Agents who DO depend solely upon their UndercoverWear earnings. In either case, it is a "real job". They aren't just "throwing parties". They are independent business owners and sales representatives for a major distributor of quality products.
I know this experience has made you leary of home party plans but I hope that you can put it behind you and consider hosting another UndercoverWear party. They truly are fun!

Here is my response the very next day after sending something to the better business bureau, the company and leaving my final message with the agent herself. I ask for a call back, I come in to my work and get this email in my inbox.

Hi Tracey. In response to the email to UndercoverWear:

I understand that you are upset about a party you had in October. I don't remember dating a show with you and then passing it off to Andrea. As I understood it, Andrea booked with you directly. I believe she would agree that the show was a disaster. I also understood that the reason your party took so long to be sent in was because you had a few guests cancel their orders.

Andrea went above and beyond to accommodate your guests by allowing them to cancel after the three day time frame that we allow -as stated on your receipt. She is an independent agent, not an employee, and I have no authority over her. I have not been in touch with her, and did not know that anyone still qualified for the voucher after the canceled orders. However, I am going to try to take care of this matter.

I will mail you the hotel voucher, tomorrow. I am sorry that you felt so desperate as to threaten me with filing a complaint. Today is the first voicemail I have received from you. I am not sure who received the other 4-10 calls you made to me. I apologize if the miscommunication is on my part.

I, like Andrea, am not an employee of UndercoverWear. They pass along the complaint, but it is my decision to make it right and I am trying to do so by sending you the voucher. If there is anything I can do for you in the future, please let me know. Thank you.

Ask me about the $50 kit special for March!

Okay now my response is this. There were two cancellations, before my party closed, so that means the orders were never even put through when the cancellations took place, also I left several messages with Erin asking for a return call back to get this worked out and she does not contact me by phone to talk this out as professional women do, she emails me, because she chickened out.

She was too afraid to take responsibility for this situation. She did not prepare this girl Andrea for a party nor did she return any of Andreas calls. Dont get me wrong Andrea was not good at returning phone calls either, they finally are sending me a hotel voucher, however, if Erin was not responsible for any of this, why did Andrea tell me she turned the order in to her boss and was waiting on her to send it in to her boss and why did Andrea also say her boss is the one who sends these vouchers out.

I would watch throwing any party with undercoverwear, because any women not mature enough to get out of her house and get a real job and do nothing but throw parties and still cant handle that, probably shouldnt even have a job.
