Umax Corporation No Service!! the business that doesn't give a dam Freemont California

I purchased a UMAX Astra 1220U scanner as well as the transparency lid. It performed great for over a year. I then suddenly began experiencing "yellow banding" on my scans. I have written numerous emails to the company as well as a screen capture of my problem.

No answer after 6 months..going to attempt once more..if no help, will have my attorney contact them. Anyone else have this "banding" problem? Anby solutions? (Since UMAX doesn't care enough to reply!)

Glad to see i'm not the only ripped by UMAX, Yes I also have the yellow banding problem, but happened after warranty, so what can you say! But they also ripped me off on a rebate. Followed all instructions to get it, never heard anything, tryed for over 3 months and then just gave up.
