Complaint Review: UBid - ubid.com - Greatfn

Discovered charges of $9.99 for 3 months from this GREATFN in my CC bill. Call them up and found out they were given my CC information from uBid.com.

Got Greatfn to cancel my account and then called uBid.

According to uBid, if you click on that $25 rebate popup, you are basically agreeing to them passing your CC info to Greatfn, although there is no mention of recurring charges (or in very small print I am sure). I basically told them they need not be doing business with such scammers and cancelled my uBid account also.

Called the bank and disputed the charges and cancel my CC card.

So Watch Out! There aint no such thing as free. I wonder how many people out there having bought stuff from uBid.com and still not noticed charges on their card cause uBid decide to sell their info.
