I bid on a set of pearls, weeks later after winning I received a package with just the certificate of authenticity, plus I had to pay 2.46 for postage due. Ubid clamed it was delivered and took it up with the merchants. The merchants claimed it was no fault of their own and i was refunded the amount I paid by UBid. I was also told that they good not give me a replacement because there were no more to give. One week later the same merchant is selling another lot of the very same pearls. I called Ubid on this and all they could tell me was to bid on this lot and try to win those being offered. Bad customer support to this point.

So in looking closer I found that the pearls are being falsely advertised. A lady in the picture is wearing @15mm pearl necklace when in truth they are selling 7-8mm size pearls. I brought this up to their attention and they mentioned that there was a disclaimer on the description page. But that disclaimer does not clearly state the size shown is not the size you are bidding on. I closed my account with Ubid and will pass this story on to anyone I can. There was also an occassion when I was waiting on a watch for over 30days, an their exscuse was that they sent it to someone other than myself. Which I have my reasons to believe that was a lie.
