I placed a winning bid for Rousseau TRIAD S.S. Chrono, Silver/Blue Watch on Sat., June 19 2004. The watch was advertised as Swiss made.

Then after some research on Internet I found out that the product is not Swiss made watch, but was manufactured in China. See customer review at

I sent 2 emails to ubid.com requesting to cancel my order immediately.

They ignored these emails and shipped the product. After the product was shipped, they responded with email stating that bids cannot be cancelled and the only way to get money back is to return the product (I would lose 15% restocking fees and $20 in shipping cost).

Here's what I would like uBid, Inc. to do:

1. Refund my expenses, including shipping.
2. Do not continue with false advertising.
3. Provide better customer service.
