Treehouse Marketing - Turley Thompson ripoff I have $381 taken out of my checking account that I did not authorize Provo Utah
I was scammed by this company and the gentleman that called me at home peaked my interest in a program which I would be able to receive 4 coaching/nutritional sessions and even be contacted by Larry Scott himself.
The intro offer was $19.95 and if I was not satisfied, I could return it for a refund. The program was called Bring Your Body to Life.
Well, when I received the product, I was amused at the "mickey mouse" thing and decided that I would return it, but also wait to see if I would receive these 4 "promised" coaching sessions. I also received a statement that said that my account would be charged $381.00 if I did not return the product, yet I needed to get 4 coaching sessions and contact the company for an RMA number in order to return it.
No sessions and I tried several times a day to contact this company. The phone number was busy, then disconnected and I had to wait about 2 weeks for a response via email, which indicated that they moved and changed phone numbers.
I finally had one of their representatives call me back and I needed to overnight this product in order to get it back to them on time. The rep offered a discount on the program, saying "how much would you like to pay?" WHAT?! Just give me the number so I can get my money back. I also instructed them to refund the $19.95 and explicitly told them NOT to charge my account.
What did they do? You guessed it. Now I have $381 taken out of my checking account that I did not authorize. I'm outraged and trying to get to the bottom of this. I was adamant in their not charging me to no avail. I hope that I and all that have lodged complaints against this company receive some satisfaction and refunds we deserve.
