Over three years ago, our office manager signed up to get a credit processing machine for a monthly fee of 25.00 per month. IT was never used. We have since moved out of that office and this account was closed during moving. 15 months ago after no charges for over a year and a half. Transnational starting pulling all different amounts out of our business checking. After reporting to the bank, they said we need to contact the company and look at our contract. I called the company and was told they do noyt keep old contracts and that the charges were not set by them. I then asked to cancel it immediately and opened a fraud investigation with our bank. In June of this year, they took out two more payments making the total of our loss around 2000.00. I have called them numerous times and never get a call back and they can't produce the contract.
We are a small company and this is a lot of money for us. Isn't there any recourse we could take to stop them from ripping off everyone.
