Description of Complaint:

On Feb. 8, 2021 I submitted a claim for garage door repair against Total Home Protection, Policy # 786951289, in the amount of $350.69, see claim # 676373, which company said is not covered, (but policy clearly states that garage door repairs are covered!) however after many phone calls, on March 24, 2021, I was offered a settlement of $150.00, which at that time I accepted.

The agent said the check will take 30 working days. Repeated inquires about when the check will be issued received the reply the check is in preparation. So far, today July 12, 2021, I have yet to receive a check!! After many calls and a long wait, the company has yet to make good on their promise to issue a check for the settlement amount of $150.00. I am now inclined to request full reimbursement for the total claim amount of $ 350.69!
