Ticketmaster required that I open an account in order to purchase tickets.  I did not want to do this but they would only sell me tickets if I opened an account.  They assured me I would not be marketed or spammed.  They spammed.  They attempted to offer terrible "survey" offers.  I immediately followed their "Contact Us" link which brought me to a page that had a "Closing your Account" link.  That link leads to a page with two links; both lead you back to the original page.  Its a loop.  This is why everyone who values honest business relationships should sever all ties with ticketmaster.  It turns out that you can create an account online but can not close the account online.  Their "contact us by email" is a form that refuses to give you any email contact info and only permits drop down topics of their choice - not the customers - there is no option to discuss closing the account.  There is an option that lets you discuss opening an account, only. 

We need to end this kind of deceptive business practice.  It starts with the small stuff but it permiates their every transaction. 

There is not even one person that I have ever known that would prefer to ever do any business with ticketmaster EVER. 

We must end this sort of corporate fascism in America.  You all better vote while that still remains an option in this democracy.  In the meantime avoid business with monopolies and ask your elected representative to curb corporate mobsters in America.
