I PURCHASED A RCA SATELLITE AND RECIEVER ON 12-13-99.
IT WAS DEFECTIVE. THE RCA TECH REP TOLD ME TO RETURN IT TO H.H.
GREG, WHICH I DID. I WAS GIVEN A NEW RECIEVER ON 12-19-99. IT
SEEMED TO WORK FINE FOR 3 MONTHS. I MOVED INTO A NEW HOME AND
TRIED TO INSTALL THE SATELLITE SYSTEM. IT HAD THE SAME DEFECTS AS THE ORIGINAL RECIEVER.

A CSR FROM THOMPSON TOLD ME "TOUGH CRUNCHIES", I WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER RECIEVER. THE WARRANTY IN THE MANUAL STATES " 91 DAYS TO 1 YEAR; UNIT EXCHANGE.
APPARANTLY THEY FEEL THAT WARRANTIES WRITTEN IN BLACK AND WHITE DO NOT NEED TO BE HONORED!!!!

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND OF
SYSTEM THAT ACTUALLY HAS PRINCIPLES AND ETHICS.
