I worked 8 holiday events conducting name brand sparkling wine tasting events for Lynne C. in December 2014 and was not paid. I've swept this under the rug for far too long and I'm still seething about it. The "hiring manager" Howard Grossman and a Robert Gonzales told me I did not turn in paperwork and this was the reason for them not paying me, however this was not the case. These were Marketlink forms, and all results were reported online. They were paid for my work, yet I was not. I was even made to purchase product out of pocket, because the company "Comdata" card that I was supposed to receive to pay for product never arrived. They loaded me up too, I was sampling 6 sparkling wine varietals at a time. I was paying more out of pocket for product then I was supposed to be paid $25 an hour agreed at $100 for a 4-hour shift They owe me well over $1200 and flat-out refused to pay me, even though I was able to prove I executed the work.
