I purchased their TOP 5 layer cover because I wanted a cover that would LAST and provide thorough protection for my Lexus at a beach Gulf coast location from the salt air.

Car cover purchased the end of August 2015.  Placed car cover on Lexus the end of August.  Removed cover for a three week period in November.   Placed cover back on the Lexus in December.   Received a text message from neighbor telling me they returned home from being away and the cover was blown off the car, hanging on by the front strap and buckle around the back of the front tires.  

Neighbor said the back strap/buckle was broken and with the location and breeze, the cover would not stay on without the strap and buckle which are PART of the cover and necessary to hold the cover in place when any breeze or wind is present.

I found the plastic ( cheap construction ) buckle was broken on both sides of the strap intended to snap or hook together.

The Car Cover Company advertises on their website that they offer an Lifetime Warranty.  So I contacted them and explained with the first email the problem with the broken faulty buckle on the strap and how my Lexus vehicle was exposed to the salt air for one-two months because the cover would not stay on the vehicle without the straps working properly and holding the cover down whenever there is any breeze or wind.

The Car Cover Company initially said they would replace the cover, however, subsequent emails then asked me for pictures of the problem with the buckle and strap.  So I took pictures ( included with this report ).  I then promptly received this email :

According to the pictures, there seems to be nothing wrong with the cover.

Excuse me, the straps and buckles are part and NECESSARY part of the car cover.  Without adequate functioning buckles and straps, the car cover will not stay on the vehicle in breezy or windy conditions.  If they were not important, then why do they have them on the cover.  OF COURSE THEY ARE PART of the cover and a vital part.

Bottom line, THINK twice about purchasing a cover from this company.  Poor product and poorer customer service.

I even purchased their top of the line product to ensure i would be receiving a quality product, but this did not occur.

I should have paid the $300 more an purchased the Lexus car cover.  My advice check with Costco or Sams Club - I found a similar cover to the one I purchased at The Car Cover Company at Costco for $29.97

The Car Cover Company reviewed my complaint and reversed its decision - agreeing to send a replacement cover for the damaged cover.
