Teton Guitars Sold me a bad guitar and would not stand behind it Idaho Falls Idaho
1. I bought a Teton Guitar STG105NT new for around 500 dollars. Within the 1st week, I noticed a small crack in the finish.. I called them and they said if it gets any bigger, to call them back .. It did get bigger and I called them. They informed me the body is only warranteed for 30 days. I told them I reported it to them a week after I had the guitar.
2. The sound was OK but the action was horrible. I called Teton back and reported this to them and they said I would have to send the guitar back to them and I would have to pay the shipping. 38 dollars to send back to Company in Idaho.
3. I also reported that I could slip a piece of paper between the bridge and the body. I ask them if that was a problem and they said it was.
4. I received the guitar back in less than a week and it was worse than when I sent it to them .. I called them and they connected me to a Luthier Tech (hard to believe it) .. He informed me that the guitar was put back to Company specs. What a rippoff! Buyer beware!! They also have false information on their Guitar Forums stating this Guitar is better that a Taylor Guitar .. Afraid not and it is in the catagory of rediculous ..
