Complaint Review: TeleDias

TeleDias USBI FTC violations documented. Again, switched my AT&T long distance without my authorization! How are these fraudsters not in jail? Reno Nevada

My commercial At&T statement had unusual charges from "USBI" and listed "TeleDias" as the billing company. I called TeleDias to inquiry about the unusual charges to my commercial account. A very rude "customer service" representative told me two of my commercial numbers were "switched to TeleDias" almost a month ago and he listed my hourly employee receptionist as the individual who had authorized the switch. I told him that I am the only person who can authorize a change to my AT&T service and that my receptionist would not have done this. I asked for the FTC required 3rd party verification of our switch to TeleDias, of course he would not provide this. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said there "were no supervisors." I asked to speak to another representative and he responded "I'm the only one you can speak to." I called At&T regarding these charges and they confirmed that two of my coporate lines had to changed to TeleDias. They also removed the charges from my bill without question. After reading the online reviews about this company, clearly this "TeleDias" is a fradulant organization that preys on businesses with high call volume hoping they won't notice a few hundred dollars added to their phone bill. I'm shocked the FTC hasn't put these guys behind bars.
