Complaint Review: TeaseEntertainment / Webcams.com

To make a long story short - I worked as an independent contractor webcam model for TeaseEntertainment.com for about 3 days, and they never paid me the $59.41 that they owed me. When I complained about never receiving a paycheck, they then told me that the accounting department would have to deduct $35.00 in order to reissue it (when it was never issued in the first place!). I told them that I was not okay with this and that is why I am here issuing this report.

Regardless whether or not I ever receive this paycheck, this report needs to be filed because working for TeaseEntertainment.com was a huge waste of my time. I spent hours sitting online and no customers ever entered my chatroom. Supposedly I had to build up my client base, which means they don't have any advertising. Save yourself the trouble and work for a more reputable company if this is something you want to get into.

I wonder if I would have been stupid enough to continue working for this company if they ever planned on paying me. Apparently people do work for them, so they must get paid. I don't understand why I am having so much trouble with them regarding this issue. My exchange regarding this matter was done through the Webcams.com site, so I guess it is affiliated somehow. I don't know, and I don't really care at this point. It's all a joke, if you ask me. It is only $59.41, but it is the principle. I am very angry about this, and it's really not even worth it. I told them time and time again, that I would take action against them and if this makes the smallest dent in their reputation, then it will be worth it. Hopefully future customers or models will see this complaint and decide not to do business with this company. And karma takes care of the rest...
