I purchased a $5 bible timeline to download and print for my Sunday school kids to color and was tricked into being automatically billed for a subscription I wasn't aware of. As I go back and look at the website I see that many tactics were used to hide and distract from the fact that there was an automatic subscription including putting it in the fine print, making other words larger, bold, and colored.
Not only do they scam you with one hidden $19.99 subscription but after checkout, they try to upsell you on another $1 product that has another hidden subscription for $19.00.
It's absolutely disgusting that a Christian Sunday School company is scamming people like this. I can't even believe it!
The most damning thing they did was try to defraud me by doctoring my receipt. When I tried to ask for a refund they sent me an edited receipt that had the words “Recurring Sale Notice”. The receipt I received did not say “Recurring Sale Notice”. I have attached screen shots of this.
