Tax Relief Netowrk Took nearly $4000.00 from me and did not provide what they promised San Diego California
When I was scared and afraid and called TRN for help, they promised to help me. When I contacted them about my tax debt, I had just been injured on the job and was on worker's compensation. Until this time, I had been making regular monthly payments to the Irs. Trn instructed me to continue to make my monthyly installments to TRN for the service they would provide once I was back to work. They told me that the IRS would not accept an offer in compromise from me until I went back to work.
I was off for over a year and had a surgery, all the while finding ways to make my payment to TRN. I trusted them. When I returned to work, TRN made the offer to the Irs on my behalf, in the amount of $500.00. Mind you, my debt was over $30,000. That offer was denied and as promised, TRN appealed, again only offering $500.00. Again, it was denied. TRN then sent me a nice letter telling me that they had exhausted all of the avenues and could not reach a settlement for me with the IRS. The whole time I was off work, I continued to get calls from the IRS and threatening letters, which TRN said they would stop. I paid nearly $4000.00 and got nothing. Interest and penalties continued to mount on my debt. I am so disappointed and angry at myself for allowing this company to screw me. I'm normally so very skeptical, but like a wolf, this company preyed on me when I was vulnerable. Now I understand they have closed up shop. Meanwhile, I continue to struggle to pay my tax debt as I suppose I will do for the rest of my life. I see no light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for a big fat NOTHING TRN! May your company rest in eternal hell!
