Complaint Review: TAP Portgual

TAP Portgual FLY Tap Airline cancels my flight and refuses to issue a refund.

I had purchased 2 tickets for my fiance and me with TAP Portugal for our destination wedding in Italy for September 2020. Understandably, due to Covid, travel was forbidden and TAP Portugal had to cancel our flights in March 2020.

Month after month we had contacted our travel agency, Hotwire/Expedia, for a refund of the canceled flights. Month after month we've been issued the same statement; that the airline would not authorize a refund for the flight they canceled.

It is now 15 months since these flights were canceled, and we have yet to receive a refund from either Hotwire/Expedia or TAP Portugal.

During a year that was supposed to be a happy moment, stressed over our lives with Covid, both Hotwire/Expedia and TAP Portugal showed lack of customer service, empathy and forgiveness for the thievery they all were involved with.

I'm still demanding my refund mid-May 2021.
