I bid on a laser inscribed diamond. The listing gives you the inscription number, so it is easy to identify. The diamond was listed to start bid at $700. I bid the $700 and won the auction on ebay. I received feedback from the seller immediatly for great buyer. The next evening, I received a request to cancel due to unverified address. I denied it, called ebay, and was told address is fine and send seller an email. I couldn't contact the seller, I was blocked out.

While trying to contact seller, the diamond I won popped up with a different number and price for sale again.  I went in under a different ebay account and told seller the address was correct, I had paid for that diamond, and to please ship it.  I was then blocked from contact under that accoumt by the seller.

By this time I had already ordered a semi mount for the diamond, which I am now stuck with, set up for that diamond shape and size. It has now been 8 days, and after 4 exhausting calls to ebay, I do not have the diamond, nor do I have my money back.

If the seller had listed the diamond under an incorrect price, it would have been nice if he contacted me and explained, and we probably could have worked something out, because I am a reasonable person and honest buyer.

I now can only assume he is trying to scam me, especially since he won't even let me contact him.
