The worst aspect was the physical danger of my wife and I driving exhausted for Five hours in a severe lightning/thunder/rainstorm in an area we were totally unfamiliar with from 10:30 P.M. to 3:30 A.M.  because Sal Nichani and his employee Les not only kept our payment, but also admitted charging a much higher price to someone else.  We also lost the entire cost of the $ 2,200 trip, our time, and my wife lost a job opportunity.

Having arrived at Super8 motel on Thursday, June 5th at 10:30 P.M. with reservations for my wife's Friday morning job interview, a man who would First not even tell us his First name, and then only identify himself as "Les", told us without looking into either his computer or paper records, "CheapTickets.com never told us about your reservations". The reservations had been made One week in advance.  Les nodded yes with a smile when another guest checking in told him, "I know what you did. You are keeping these peoples' money, and charging someone else a higher price because there are no rooms available because of the conventions at the fairground".  Les refused call his owner/manager.  Les also refused to help us by calling another hotel.  Sal Nichani's business card identified his "Cell" number as (((Redacted))).  Mr. Nichani did not respond to my telephone call.  Les refused to cooperate in any way in refunding our money, even to extent of documenting that we did not stay in the room.

Until a Holiday Inn employee assisted us by locating a room more than (30) miles away, my wife and I were happy to survive Five hours of driving around in the night exhausted.

The next morning, my wife was ill, and therefore lost the job opportunity.

I called Cheap Tickets. They called their Louisville Franchisee, Mr Nichani.  He again did not respond.   The Super8 Kentucky day manager,Paula, said that she could not refund the room because Sal Nachani had not authorized it.

Super 8 motel headquarters responded to my contact by telling me that they would wait to see what Mr. Sal Nichani told them.
