Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit the following about a company that has many complaints against it. I believe the number is 76 current complaints for the year 2004. I enjoy surfing the net and discovering new things. One of my more favorite things has been RipOff.com and the stories I have found here. One blaring company coupled with many stories captured my attention and as I began to uncover more about this company, what I found would boil the blood of many of you.

The company I am referring to is Storesonline.com aka iMergent aka Galaxy Mall aka Netgateway aka Community Architect. Gives one pause for concern as to how many other aliases this company has. Reads like the Top Ten Most Wanted by the FBI. To get to the point now...in my searches I found a "Merchant Forum" that appears to have within it many of Storesonline current customers. What caught my eye was a Forum heading called "Comments, Complaints and Praise". Within that forum were many complaints and a feeling that these people have settled for something for which they spent significant amounts of money for. Everything from buggy programming to customer disservice and all points in between. It would seem to this reporter, that once you are in and have given up trying to get some degree of satisfaction along with professional customer support, a sense of surrender sets in. Then comes denial and a change in attitude. With brianwashing firmly accomplished comes a cult mentality. Storesonline.com appears to have the ability to create robots that are at their beckoned call.

One glaring comment that I found in that "Forum" was made by someone, who for the sake of respect I shall leave anonymous. You all can go there and see for yourselves. I submit the following quote..."The only thing SoL is doing wrong is telling people they will be able to do it with NO knowledge or WORK. If anyone believes that they deserve to be ripped off. Everybody knows NO WORK, NO PAY." Doesn't that quote just scare the hell out of you? Storesonline.com, in this reporter's most humble opinion, is doing far more wrong than the above quote would indicate. Now you begin to see the possibility of the kind of Cult Mentality that can set in when companies hold your money and promised service hostage.

It's disheartening for me to see this current trend in human behavior. The kind of behavior that would rip off one's own friends and associates. I am brought to mind something a sensationalist talk show host says at the end of each of his shows..."Take care of yourselves, and each other." Jerry Spinger He may have some of the most bizzar shows on television. But those words should be everyone's banner phrase. This is a troubled world we live in these days. And, with a bit of public awareness and mutual care, we can stem the tide of evil companies and hold them accountable for their actions.
