Complaint Review: Steve Lanni - Factory Direct Spas

I sent Steve Lanni $4,844.00 for a hot tub I won on eBay throught his company, Factory Direct Spas. I was supposed to receive the tub within 4-6 weeks, yet 20 weeks later, he sent me a tub that drained out all 500 gallons in under 24 hrs. Multiple attempts on my part to get him to fix the issues, were met with lack-luster attempts on his part. He says he stands behind his product...yea, way behind.

I contacted the Harris Co. (TX) DA's office, and they have put a full-time investigator on the case due to the multiple complaints. Additionally, his bank, Chase Bank of Texas, is assisting the local FBI with multiple complaints of federal wire fraud.

The list of those who were scammed grows daily (check out -link deleted - see below-). Between the state and federal charges, he will be going away for awhile. Don't worry though, visiting days are on Saturdays
