Stay away from EBAY *REBUTTAL ..whiner
Ebay ripped me off with their lousy computer bidding system.
Just a few minutes ago I lost the bid on a beutiful Mazda Miata sports car that I had been bidding on for several days. In the last few minutes I came in to check on the bid to find I was no longer high bidder.
I thought no problem, I've got 8 minutes to put in a bid which I prepared (only takes 30 seconds) and submitted my bid. THE EBAY COMPUTER FROZE UP AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY BID FOR OVER 5 MINUTES.
By the time I got out of that situation (I had to shut-down and restart my browser) THE AUCTION WAS OVER. And the person who got the bid was $200 under mine.
EBAY's computer systems really are terrible.
All I can say is : If you are a seller and want to get the best price for your merchandise, DON'T use EBAY!!
If you are a buyer and you want to be fairly treated DON'T USE EBAY!
