Spartan Race Did Not Provide Product or Anything Until Threatened Legal Action- Only Partial Refund then Boston MA

My brother-in-law loves his Spartan shirt so I ordered one around December 8th for his birthday. When I placed the order they sent an automatic text saying they would notify me when the order was shipped. I paid for standard shipping so it said I should have the shirt within 5 - 7 days.

On December 24th, I emailed asking where they were and why I never got a notification. It took a lot of going back and forth for the representative to finally, in early January, tell me they were out of stock. I asked why they did not notify me of that and she gave some kind of excuse I do not remember related to them having too much to get done due to the holiday.





I told her them that I wanted a refund, AND shirts they do have to substitute. I paid around $25 total between around $16 for one shirt and the rest for shipment and tax. She gave me around $16 refund and I told her that I would report them for scamming me as I did not get the product so I should not be charged for the shipment cost.

Then, she refunded me the rest and claimed it was an "accident." I asked her then how do I get a shirt they actually do have since when I ordered it, the website did not say out of stock but she claims that was why they did not fulfill my order. She responded with a code that was to basically get a discount, but not an actual free shirt.





I used that code ordering two shirts this time. I also emailed them the same day explaining how I had to get on their back and this representative said one of the shirts were out of stock, which it did not say on the website when I placed the order, and the other was shipped.

I placed that order around January 7th. It also sent the automated text saying they would send me a text when the items were shipped. I asked this time if she ACTUALLY sent the shirt that she said they did have and I ordered. She emailed back another day saying they did ship it that day and also that the other was shipped too.

I took that as I got the last in stock of the one that she said the first time was out of stock. Today, February 3rd, my brother-in-law still has not received any shirts. Neither have I got any notices, refunds or anything. . . . scammed!
