After visiting the web site online a sales rep called me and told me they discovered my visit to the web site. Probably through a cookie. After a few minutes on the phone talking about my teaching myself Visual Basic at home she told me there was a better way.

She then went into her sales pitch. Not one but 4 certificates all included and unlimited access to the library for two years. All this for $2500.00 which would be deferred for six months. During the first six months I would have no problem taking the MOUS training and passing the test and receiving my Microsoft certificate. They would also help with getting a job. This way there would not be a financial problem because I explained I was unemployed.

They did a credit check and told me I had an excellent credit rating in spite of the fact I am not working.

During the conversation it slipped out that they were instructed by management that the recording would be turned on and off at certain times. She admitted this because she forgot to turn it off a couple of times. This "recording" would be the evidence they said they had.

After starting my lessons I went to help to find out the procedure for getting my MOUS certificate. At that time found out they had no intention of giving the certificates to me. At first they said my account did not allow it. Then they told the BBB they did not give certificates because it would cost too much.

In spite of my request that the account be cancelled and my complaint with the BBB they are refusing to cancel the account. The warranty period has not yet expired but is not unlimited. What legitimate company would refuse to cancel during the warranty period when a customer is not happy with the product? The last phone conversation I asked if they enjoyed forcing people to pay for nothing since I had no intention of going back to the web site again for more training. It did not bother them at all in my opinion.
