Complaint Review: Slow DSL

Slow DSL ATT deleted my DSL and when they reinstated 2 weeks later they reinstated it at a speed of 25% of what I'm payng for. for a month, can't get ATT to reinstate proper speed. ILmIllinois

I use earthlink, who then uses ATT to provide DSL to me.  I had ATT telephone line static and filed a servive request with ATT.  The ATT tech moved my telephone line to a new location, but in the prcess killed my DSL.  I was without DSL for two weeks until I got another ATT tech to come ouy and reinstate the DSL.  The reinstatement was for DSL that is 1,5 MBPS insteadf the 6 MBPS I pay for.  I called Earthlink because ATT won't talk to me as I am not the diresct ATT customer, Earthlink is.  Earthlinks has me down as a 6 mBPs customer but ATT says their records show I'm a 1.5 MBPS customer. Ffor some reason ATT is not complying with Earthlink's request to increase my DSL to the 6 Mbps I pay for.  Earthlink is waiting for ATT to correct the problem and ATT says it is waiting for a work order request from Earthlink to make the change.  This ring-around-the-rosey game has been going on for over a month.  Earthlink and ATT are pouinting at esach other and in the meantime I have extremely slow DSL but get charged for DSL I'm not getting.

It seems that my request to get my DSL running at the proper speed is a request too hard to handle and I can't get help either from Earthlink or ATT even though this problem has been escalated to management at both companies.
