Complaint Review: Sleepy' Mattress Company

Sleepys' Mattress Company Our mattress is defective . Called and asked to have it checked out , they said we need to pay them to do this . Have never had a company tell me I need to pay them for a inspection and was never told this when buying the mattress . Nationwide

 We bought a mattress from sleepys almost 4 yrs ago . I called to report that the mattress is defective , and asked for someone to come and look at it . It is a pillow top that has large indents on both sides of the Mattress where we sleep . The center of the mattress Has a large bump that when you try and sleep on it you roll off into the indents on the sides . I was told if someone has to come out we must pay them $39.95 . Or they will send us our own kit with instructions on what we need to prove to them for $24.95 . I have never had this done before and think it is just a rip off so they will receive money on every person who has a complaint . Even if your complaint is valid and your mattress is defective you do not get your inspection money back . I have dealt with Home Depo , Lazy boy , Penny's and Macy's . Never was I asked to pay for a inspection . This is a total rip off ! I will never deal with this company again and I will spread the word about this deseptive practice .

 Face re4ality FOUR YEARS after your purchase YOU wish to claim a defect. A full 1/3 of YOUR LIFE is spent on the mattress. So for FOUR YEARS you have spent AT LEAST 8 hours a day on said mattress. The mattress is that way due to YOUR WEIGHT and YOUR SLEEPING HABITS. OBVIOUSLY you have NOT been flipping your mattress. If you had you would see LESS wear and tear due to YOUR use. The problem is that YOU are trying to scam THEM into giving YOU something YOU DO NOT DESERVE!!! Typical American mentality. YOU use the item and through ONLY your use of said item have caused this issue but YOU want someone else to PAY for YOUR problem.
