I went to Showcase Honda to look @ an Accord. When I test drove it I made the mistake of giving them the keys to my present trade-in. After spending 2 hrs. and not buying the Accord I asked for my keys back. I was told "sure, no problem". Then came another salesman without my keys who used the classic line "what can we do to allow you to drive this car home today Mr. Darby?". I said that I wanted my keys back. He said he would have to go over to the Sales Managers office to get them. After about 1/2 hour, the Sales Manager came in and again used the same classic line. By this time I was getting upset as rush hour was starting and I had a long way to go to get home. I finally (after 1/2 hour more) demanded my keys back. He also told me that he would have to go and find them. Another 1/2 hour or so elapsed (it was now about 5 pm and I had gone in there about 12:30) again but this time they had my keys and returned them to me. I will never buy a car from them and I know someone who had a similar experience. They went to Honda Cars of Mesa and nothing but good things to say about them. She ended up buying a 2000 V-6 Accord Sedan. It serves Showcase Honda right. They lost what...$25,000?
