On June 20th, contacted 24/7 Locksmith Emergency Service to re-key locks on front door on recently purchased property. Quoted $35 dollar service fee and $190 per lock to change the key mechanism. S
HAI KAMAK arrived late and then sold a greater service to my daughter who owns the property, that I had arranged this service for her. The expected cost when I called was about $750. The final cost was $3230. The locksmith only changed one lock with a completely new handle and lock and could not do the rest of the work indicating a new door was needed.
We are going to buy a new door, this locksmith service was just to re-key the lock in the meantime. When I saw the final bill at my daughters home and saw the incomplete work that was done, I was really upset. I should have checked BBB before we went with this contractor. I would like to get a 50% refund if I could. I have pictures of the incomplete...
