Complaint Review: Shabby Chic Shack

Shabby Chic Shack Sold a defective refrigerator and their receipt states 30 day guarantee repair and replacement. They did not honor guarantee. turlock california

On 2/9/20 my husband and i who are in our 70's went to Shabby Chic Shack and purchased a refrigerator. When we arrived the refrigerator we were interested in was not plugged in and when we inquired about the refrigerator they reassured us that it worked just fine and nothing wrong with it. We went ahead and purchased the refrigerator for $100.00 cash.

We took it home and waited 24 hours before plugging in. Once plugged in the refrigerator never cooled below 50 degrees. We advised the lady owner at the shabby chic shack on 2/11/20 and we took the refrigerator back hoping they were going to repair or replace as their recept states they would do. They never offered to repair it and did not want to replace it either.

Eventually they offered to replace it with another refrigerator that was like it but they said we had to pay an additional $50.00 that we did not have. Now the refrigerator stayed there at their place of business and they kept our money as well. This should not happen to people. We are now out of a refrigerator and out $100.00 Thank you.
