My home equity line was sold to Selene Finance from Bank of America in 2017. I have paid the payments on time. Signed a forebearance agreement Selene offered me after damages suffered from Hurricane Irma in 2018.  Final payment for the forebearance agreement was June 2018.  Now Selene is informing me that the terms of my original loan have been changed and I am past due from November 2017 in the amout of over $13,000!  The origianal payments for my interest only equity line were about $250 per month.  They are sending me letters with intent to accelerate on my default and giving me 3 weeks to pay the whole $13,000 in full or they said they would foreclose.  In the meantime they offered me a modification which we are in the middle of trying to get Selene to approve, but my guess is they will say I have bad credit and deny me.  The only bad credit I have is Selene who has reported me over 120 days past due.  So they will not modify and they know that no one else will with the credit score they have falsely reported. Leaving me little or no options.  They must be stopped!  I am a single mom, nurse, a good citizen.  This should NOT be allowed!
