there are several reports in one... my company was set up with sbc, pacific bell (axkxa pac bell) through my associate along with other associates and other companies. we were charged an outrageous amount for a fax, copier, printer machine that we were lead to believe was a newer model. we have only had the machine for 2 months and it is not loading documents correctly or feeding forms through. also the software that comes with it doesn't work properly. the machine is so old it is no longer made for the general public but pac bell/sbc made a deal and the company exclusively sells the products is what i am being told thus far. when the business account was originally set up we were told what the monthly fees would add up to and what to expect but when the first 3 bills came in they were much higher than we expected or was told they would be. when we attempted to get this rectified we were given the run around and we are still working on this issue. so far the current month's billing is back to normal but we have not received an adjustment to the billing for the first 3 billing cycles where the problem begins and is still in existence. we also ordered a phone for the home. it's a sbc 2.4 ghz phone system that the company is charging almost $300.00 for. to add additional handsets will cost almost $100.00 each. i have seen in advertisments for the same type of phone system with more features for far less money; another rip off. the final complaint for this company is last year i bought a 900 mhz from pac bell and was told it was an exclusive for a price of $199.99, a bargain, right? well about 2 weeks after i received the phone not only was it not a pac bell or sbc phone with special features but a simple ge phone with some features and the same phone costs merely $49.99 then but now it's down to $29.99 at wal-mart, k-mart, target and the like, another huge rip off. and the list goes on and on.
