Royal Caribbean Refuses to Refund Money After They Cancelled Cruise Royalcarribean FL

Our family (14 total) booked a cruise with Royal Caribbean (RC) before Covid struck. After Covid struck we cancelled the cruise because of health concerns for our children and elderly parents. RC eventually cancelled this cruise, but told us we weren't eligible for a refund because we initiated the cancellation BEFORE they (RC) cancelled the cruise. RC issued us travel vouchers which had to be used within 12 months. We rebooked a cruise for Jan 2021, hoping the Covid nightmare would be behind us. This time we did NOT cancel, but RC cancelled the Jan 2021 cruise.

We received an email telling us we were eligible for a full refund or 125% cruise voucher. We opted for the refund. Now Royal Carribean is telling us we are NOT eligible for the refund on the 2nd cruise because we cancelled our cruise the 1st time. Royal Carribean refuses to refund our money even though neither cruise occurred and thatthey sent us an email telling us we were eligible for a full refund. We have asked them what happens to our money if they file bankruptcy, but they will not answer our questions.
