As a small business owner myself I rarely post reviews for unsatisfactory service. I know that things happen sometimes that are out of our control and as long as the person I am dealing with makes an honest attempt to satisfy issues when they arrise I am happy.
This is unfortunately no the case with Carla, what she did to me is the lowest thing that any service provider could do in our industry. We operate a high end vacation rental property in Kissimmee FL. Carla started out great, she was polite and diligent with following up and getting our business and she had competitive pricing! We agreed on a rate for her to clean our home and we scheduled her in for all future cleaning jobs. From day one her service was underwhelming and we received complaints about her cleaners. Leaving trash around the home, sticky disgusting floors, dishes, kitchenware and cutlery not cleaned, dead bugs swatted and left sticking on walls, feces left in and around toilets, urine on floors, trash left in our backyard. Out of 7 cleans that she did for us she had to return to re clean many of them. Further to that, I had to provide over $1000 in refunds for guests that felt like they were walking into an unsanitary and uncleaned home.
During her time working for us she would constantly ask for more money taking advantage of the fact that we are out of state owners. We caught her exaggerating cleaning jobs to try and extort more money from us.
What she did next was probably the worst thing that a cleaner, or any service provider in our industry can do… she pulled her cleaners during a checkout and same day checkin in causing us to scramble to find cleaners with 3 hours notice.
If there was lower than 1 star I would give it, not only has she provided the worst cleaning services she also costed us thousands of dollars in payments to guests. Im happy to say that we have moved on to a much better company, please be cautious… The kind, knowledgeable and “honest” person is not the same person you will get once you hire her.
