I made pick-ups and deliveries in six different states; during this entire time I received one $50 cash advance. I did file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Labor but they were unable to assist me because I was working through a 1099; independent contractor, which unfortunately doesn't protect the rights of employees.
If you're someone thinking of contracting with Randy Scherf a.k.a. West Shore Freight, I recommend that you look somewhere else.

Mr. Chad njiem received advances which totalled more than he made. He has made complaints that are bogus and the office of wage and labor has informed of this. Chad was terminated by broker as he was not able to make deadlines
