I recently returned from Vancouver, Canada for Lazik surgery for my eyes. I had a two night stay at the Ramada Inn & Suites Hotel in Surrey-Vancouver, Canada. There address is Ramada Inn & Suites Hotel, 10410-158th Street, Surrey, British Columbia V4N 5C2, Canada. These dates were for Monday the 22nd of January and for the 23rd of January. I returned to Portland, Oregon on the 24th of January. The LAZIK went fine, but it left me bruised around the eyes and the nose due to the spectrums that are used to hold the eyes wide open while they perform the treatment. Prior to going in to the operating room, I was given two Adivends to relax me. Anyway the procedure went fine. I went back to the hotel and sat around with some acquaintences in the room and had a couple of drinks, to relieve some of the pain in the eyes. That's all that I remember. The next morning I awoke and noticed a red spot on the floor, and that I was sore around the eyes and nose. I had to go to clinic for a postop exam, which went fine, and then headed back to the train station for my trip back to Portland. A few days later I got billed for an additional $769.18 for a carpet cleaning bill and occupancy lost charges. I then notified my bank. They said that the charges were kind of high. I also called the hotel for an explanation to the charges and told them that the blood stain came from my nose, which was sore due to the equipment that was placed on my face. They didn't care. So please help me get my money back. My credit union said that the hotel has insurance to cover these damages and that the charge to my credit card may of been unauthorized. So again, if you can help in anyway I sure would appreciate this. I also want a $136.00 refund for the two night stay that can go toward your fee just to forget about the incident and the apathy on their part.

THE THOUGHT OF BLOOD FLOWING FROM YOUR BIG HAGGLED NOSE AND LANDING ON A FLOOR OF A HOTEL ROOM I MIGHT STAY IN SOME DAY TOTALLY DISGUSTS ME. FURTHERMORE TO KNOW THAT YOU MADE SUCH A PLURTOBIAL MESS AND THEN LEFT WITHOUT CLEANING IT UP IS A WEE BIT INFURIATING TO SAY THE LEAST. I WORK IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY AND AM A HIGHLY DEDICATED EMPLOYEE.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE SAFEGUARDS ARE FOR CLEANING UP BODILY WASTE? WE HAVE TO USE ONE PART BLEACH TO TWO PARTS WATER. THAT'S RIGHT ... BLEACH! WHEN WE CLEAN THE CARPET WITH BLEACH IT OF COURSE RUINS THE CARPET WHICH MEANS WE THEN HAVE TO REPLACE IT.

THAT IS WHY YOU WERE CHARGED EXTRA ON YOUR BILL, DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE AND UNCONCERN FOR OTHERS. THE HOTEL HAD TO COMPLETELY REPLACE THE CARPETING IN THE ROOM AS THEY CANNOT EXPECT SATISFIED GUESTS IN A ROOM WITH A BIG BLEACH STAIN ON THE RUG!

FOR YOU TO THINK THAT THIS CHARGE WAS EXHORBITANT IS INCREDIBLY PALLICE OF YOU! PERHAPS NEXT TIME IF YOU KEEP YOUR BODILY FLUIDS CONTAINED WITHIN YOURSELF THEN THIS MIGHT NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. OH AND TO USE YOUR EXCUSE OF *LASIK EYE SURGERY* IS THE ULTIMATE WIMP STORY. WAHHH WAHHH WAHHHHH...

POOR YOU! IMAGINE ALL OF THE REAL SURGERIES OUT THERE WHERE PEOPLE ACTUALLY SUFFER AND NEED TIME TO RECUPERATE. HOW MANY OF THESE PEOPLE DO YOU SEE POSTING ADS ON HERE THAT THEY LEAKED BLOOD ALL OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S PROPERTY AND DON'T THINK THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGES? OH AND I JUST RE-READ YOUR POST AND SEE THAT YOU ARE ALSO ASKING FOR A *REFUND* FOR BOTH NIGHTS YOU STAYED THERE!!!

HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND OR ARE YOU IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE DUMBO FAMILY OF FLYING ELEPHANTS? YOU HAVE HAD TO ESCAPE FROM THE LOONY BIN OR FALLEN OFF THE TART CART SOMEWHERE BECAUSE YOU ARE COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS AND TOTALLY OUT OF LINE MY DEAR!!!

AREN'T YOU EMBARRASSED FOR YOUR ACTIONS AND IRRATIONAL, SELFISH BEHAVIOR? *YOU* SHOULD BE THE ONE TO FORGET ABOUT THE INCIDENT AND ALLOW THE HOTEL TO REPAIR THE DAMAGES WITH THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES THAT WERE RENDERED TO YOU.

YOU SHOULD ALSO STEER CLEAR OF STAYING IN A HOTEL EVER AGAIN AS YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO BE A RESPONSIBLE ADULT CITIZEN AND RESPECT OTHERS' PROPERTY, AND REFRAIN FROM YOUR HEATHEN-LIKE WAYS. FROM NOW ON YOU SHOULD PITCH A TENT IN THE WOODS OR OFF THE HIGHWAY WHEN YOU ARE TRAVELING TO PROTECT ALL OTHERS FROM YOUR MESSY BLOOD-SPEWING ADVENTURES.

Give me a break! You cause damage to a hotel by getting blood all over the place, and are upset because the hotel is charging you for the damage? To top it off you have the nerve to leave your hazardous waste all over the place for someone else to clean up? I could care less about your friggin eye situation .... you are not the only person in the world to ever have eye surgery, yet you seem to be the only one who thinks it is okay to damage other's property with your bodily fluids and then not have to take responsibility for it! You are probably the same kind of person that picks snot out of your nose and wipes it underneath people's furniture, aren't you? Or urinates all over the toilet seat and throws the toilet paper on the floor! How disgusting!

A little advice for the non caring consumer

Dear Editor,

I was appalled that someone who left blood on
a carpet of someone else's property would try and get their money back.

First ,the customer should have informed the hotel of the incident they may have let her go on any charges(I work with the public).

So she instead left it to the hotel to clean up as if she couldn't care less, that is totally disrespectful and she would be upset if someone
left blood all over her new rug at home and never told her.Having worked in retail for over 10 yrs I see the ungodly things done to establishments while the customer just giggles and expects no responsibility for their actions.

This is exactly why prices for all things are so high because companies need the money to protect them against unruly customers. At least this customer was caught.

P.S. It is also childish to use your health to hide your bad judgement.

Thanks
