Group cruise of 30 people planned, day of cruise major snow storm, Pittsburgh under at state of emergency, national guard brought in, elderly told not to leave their homes. A 74 year old man did not make it using good judgement not to drive in the middle of the night in below zero temps, 2 hours to Ohio to get a flight to Florida. All flights for 2 days cancelled out of Pittsburgh, this story is much more than a flight cancelation.


The 74 year old man bought insurance through Princess Cruise Line. The company they use is Berkeley Care. He is being told A National Emergency with the National Guard brought in, along with being fined for being on the streets, does not follow guidelines for a refund.


Princess hires this company to provide insurance, at the same time in several several phone calls, Princess blames them instead of making a phone call to them to help an unusual situation. Princess does everything email no personal touch for any reason. They truley do have the worst customer service in an emergency situation, just imagine how you would be treated under a normal problem.
