Complaint Review: Precision Tune Auto Care

This company shouldn't be in business anymore. They'll tell you things that aren't wrong with your car that don't fix the problem.

I went to get my car serviced after it had stopped and the mechanic told me that the only thing wrong with my car was a starter. He literally spent 20 minutes looking at my car. After he said the starter was bad he didn't check more into the car.

I guess they don't have a 100+ point inspection. I sat in the waiting area from 9 in the morning til 5 in the afternoon.

At 5  when my car was ready to go the mechanic started it up and the car was still knocking. He drove the car up front and the knocking didn't go away or get lower. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me that I might need to get my engine checked.

If I need my engine checked why do I need to get my starter replaced? When you diagnosed my cars problem why didn't you check the engine as well?

I got in my car and drove off and didn't even make it 2 miles away from the shop. My car stopped running in the middle of the road while other cars were around me.
