Popeyes Heat And Eat rip-off! The turkey was not ready to eat as advertised. Lafayette, Louisiana
To whom it may concern:
I was planning a Thanksgiving party for my employees and I purchased the Popeye's Cajun Fried Turkey from CajunGrocer.com. In my rush to obtain a turkey that was cooked and ready to serve, I stumbled on this site and the follow description states ready to heat and eat. To no avail this was not the case and my employees where sent home without a Thanksgiving meal.
Please note the turkey was overnight and the cost of shipping was more then the turkey. When calling the customer support number and speaking with the owner Charley, he stated there was nothing he could do even when is site states "Ready to heat and eat". Please read the following description and please let me know if there is any recourse in this matter.
