PHOTOKING CAMERA INC overcharged my credit card for shipping and handling big time
0n 6/27/2001 i read an ad in shutterbug magazine .i called photoking camera in brooklyn and was given a price for a camcorder.
i asked how much the shipping would be for ups ground to california zip 90064 and was told at least three times 15.75 for 5 -7 daysups ground.
i was given the total price for the order but when my camcorder arrived they had changed the invoice date to 7/02/2001 and charged my card 87.00 for the shipping which i recieved on 7/09-2001.this is fraud and dishonest mailorder at its worst.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS PHOTOKING CAMERA AGAIN AND EVERONE SHOULD BE AWARE.

I read this type of complaint in every rating box for almostg every company. I bought an Olympus C2100UZ digital camera on Monday, 11-19-02 from Photo King to replace one which had been stolen. John agreed to get it to me ASAP. I was skeptical and told him about several bad reports on his company. He said that the camera would be in my hands on Friday. He was wrong. It arrived Thursday. It was obviously new, even though sopld as a RB. I am delighted. Can I speak to every deal they make? Obviously not, but it was a great experience for me.
