Complaint Review: Phillips/Carlyle

I decided to use Phillips/Carlyle after listening to how they would help me not make a career change and assist through their many "inside contacts."

I met with a "career counselor" once a week for 8 weeks. (After learning more about my counselor it seems that he had more jobs than myself!) I was never introduced to any of these contacts or referred to an inside contact. I recieved very very very little direction toward helping me find a satisfying career choice other than a Myer-Briggs evaluation. It told me that (amazingly enough) that I had strong tendencies toward the career I was alreay in. I was given a new resume and we completed some mock interview sessions. Other than that I was back to answering ads out of the newspaper.

When I voiced my displeasure and asked for a refund I was out of luck. No matter who I complained to it fell on deaf ears. After reading other's experiences with Haldane, it sounds like I received the same treatment.
