Complaint Review: PEOPLE PC/INTERNET

 I had this service 8 years ago and cancelled it when I moved.  A year later I noticed it was being taken out of my account again, I called and cancelled it again.  I just noticed that it was being taken out of my account again and called them.  A man named "Robert" obviously not his real name as the call was outsourced and everyonI talked to was middle eastern was very pleasant and told me there was not record of me ever cancelling the service and if i had a reference # he would be able to help me....of course I may have it somewhere but have no idea where.  He said there was nothing he could do for me. 

I asked to talk to a supervisor named "John" not!!  who put me on hold to review the account.  He came back on the line and informed me that they are a supscription service not a usage service and that there was no record of me cancelling the service and the best he could do is refund the last months charge.  I guess it is something but when you think of the fact it this has been going on for almost 8 years it could be close to 1000$.  I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF CONTACTING A LAWYER AND DEFINATLY CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!
