Since that report myself and others have noticed a drop off in 1,000 dollar prizes. My local lottery retailer explained to me and others he was getting at least one 1,000 dollar winner a month, but most of last year he has not cashed one 1,000 dollar winner!!! I myself hit a least 2 a year along with several 500 dollar winners and at least 12 100 dollar winners. Since the repotted financial troubles of the pa lottery I have not won any 1,000 dollar prizes no 500 dollar winners and no 100 dollar winners!!!! This seems a little strange. I would like a newspaper or news outlet to investigate the lotteries claim that there are hundreds of 1,000 dollar winners in every game they offer. I believe they are guilty of fraud. I have checked with other retailers and they report the same that they have NOT had any big scratch off winners for a whil, NOT like there use to be.

There is a reason

There is a reason it is called "Gambling" not "Winning"

For you to get at least 2 $1000 winners, several $500 and $100 winners over several years is statistically improbable, and you are claiming you got this about every year(meaning you did this over multiple years) makes it virtually impossible unless you are spending 10's of thousands of dollars on the lottery every month. Which if that is the case one has to wonder how much money you were already losing.

Gambling isn't a job or a source of income.   Even if you had a streak of "good luck", over the long run just like other forms of gambling the odds are always in favor of the "house".  Sadly though by your consiracy theory that they are being fraudlent is an effect of someone who in reality usually has some sort of gambling problem.

I looked at a couple of the odds of some of the scrathers that are current and ones that ended a few years ago. Over time for the same dollar value games, the odds have remained basically consistant. But PA is a big state, just like you supposedly had a streak of good luck, the random distribution of tickets could now be putting more winners in Philladelphia, State College or even Pittsburgh.

Of course there is always another option...just stop playing and put that money into savings.

Or The State Simply Made It Harder for You To Win

The lottery is not intended as a source of income - the idea you hit a $1,000 jackpot at least twice a year is ridiculous.  You should win once in a lifetime, maybe twice.  Your attitude is why there are poor people in this world.  If you depend on the lottery for winning - then that is the primary reason you are probably poor.  But keep on playing the lottery.  The state needs to get money from suckers....
