Complaint Review: PayPal and HNNM Trade Co.

PayPal and HNNM Trade Co. Seller would not take responsibility for neglecting to correctly fill order, refused to pay cost to return items and refund me for the purchase. Pinghu, Longgang District Shenzhen

I recently made a purchase from a company by the name of HNNM Trade Co. via Paypal. When I finally received my order, only one item of the five ordered was correct. I tried contacting the seller but they would not response, so I filed a claim with Paypal. I sent pictures of the packaging and the items received along with a copy of the invoice for the order and a description/comparison of the picture to the invoice to PayPal customer service.

Paypal stated that I was eligible for a refund but I would have to return the items at my own expense. Note that this is a company in China and the cost for me to return the items was $173 but I only paid $119 for the items. I explained to Paypal that because the seller was negligent in fill the order correctly, they should be held liable for the cost to return the items as well as refunding me for the incorrect order.

Paypal offered to refund me only $30 of the cost to return the items. They did not make the seller responsible for their failure to hold up their end of the transaction as the negligent party. I, as the customer had to suffer the loss and am left with items I have no use for at all. DO NOT USE PAYPAL TO MAKE PURCHASES! DO NOT MAKE PURCHASES FROM HNNM TRADE CO.
