ParValu Ripoff
Same scam here as with the others. Received a call from ParValu with a set of carbite golf clubs for $1295.00 and a 45 day free trial. If I did not like them, I could return them simply by dropping them off at Mailboxes Etc. who would UPS them back for me. Like one of the other complainants, I didn't feel good about the whole thing and called back later in the day, canceling my order. I met with some resistance to that, but was finally assured the order was cancelled. Not so. A $1295 charge to good 'ole ParValu showed on my November credit card statement, just past the 60 chance to cancel it.
Like some of the others, I have talked with my old buddy AJ on several occasions and been assured that the computer and accounting problems had been taken care of, but never received golf clubs or credit to my account.
An absolute and total RIP OFF if there ever was one.
