Different sham ladies, one with a hoarse raspy voice, called from 952-214-4973 Optum Financial Services and Optum EPS electronic payment services advertising quick payments (to them) instead of service payment checks sent directly to our office.
They called our medical office to offer "enhanced claim payment deliver options". They offered "quick payments through a virtual card or (alternative) bank account" connecting directly with United Health Care health insurance and other health insurance companies. Call back to the number gave a different individual unaware of the first caller's efforts.
They asked essentially to collect our health insurance payments instead of the office receiving checks from the health insurance company, specifically from United Health Care. The scam artists were copying the annoying but real calls from United, OptumX, and other health insurance companies concerning Medicare HEDIS reports on patient data.
