I should have realized when he only accepted Zelle or venmo that it was a scam. I purchased items over a month and a half ago on Texas Hibid auction site, and he ignored all correspondence by text or email. He has several named auctions and seems to offer discount items, however I think he is a fraud and Texas Hibid allows it. I want a refund for my items and so called shipping fee. I understood that since the covid 19 was going on that he wasn't offering pickup, however I live literally 5 miles away and after payment he could've sat it out for me, instead he asked me to send him more money to ship it to my house.
It doesn't take that long to ship a box. No telling how many people he has taken advantage of. Two of the items that I purchased were for my elderly aunt, but he doesn't care. Don't purchase anything from him, buyer beware!
Anytime someone is only accepting Zelle cash app venmo any peer to peer payment for anything they are selling, don't do it! It's a scam, because it's not guaranteed like PayPal.
