Complaint Review: ocwen bank

As a hurricane sandy victim dealing with ocwen laon services i have to say i feel as though i am the bad one in all this. i have been lied to and sent on wild goose chase for my own money. I have been blown off and this has been drawn out over 8 months with them! I get nasty responses and sometimes hung up on when trying to find out what rules they have made up for the week!!!! I have been told to hand write letters while on the phone with them as they would be telling me what to write?????? are u serious????? what bank does that????? and all they wanted was for me to write what was getting fixed at the time in my house! If this is what our government aloows banks to do then forget home ownership! id rather rent and walk away when s**t hits the fan. They are nasty and have no human emotion when on the phone. all i get is that katrina victims took money and bought cars.. like wow i thought that would be stereotyping which is largely frowned upon and or unacceptable in our environment! Nypd cant do stop and frisk on animals but our banks can drop us in a catagory that we are all going out to by cars. amazing and really lacks profesionalizm. This is harrasment and rude.7-8 months and i just put a refrigerator in my home. raising two toddlers and with this explained to them i was told numourus times that insurance money was being released from them (ocwen) and to find out weeks later nothing was sent. All to find out all i had to do was sign a form other than what was required. I will never look to buy my next home. I will rather rent. I had to deal with blood pressure issues and other forms of stress related problems because of how they held money for no real reason but as to most likley invest on there behalf..... I am stunned and blown away by what this government allows to go on here. However ocwen is horrible and i cant wait to refi to get away from them.
