Complaint Review: North Fulton Community Charities

It was a wonderful day, and my Friend and I decided to stop by NFCC to shop for items. The store has great prices, and we have been customers in the past. I myself an accomplished and experienced musician when we walked into the store the first thing to catch my eye was an organ, I know that it is an organ I need so I began to test the used instrument to see how well it worked and the condition. While doing a so a black woman in the store approaches and is enjoying my testing of the instrument. It was on the Organ for no longer then 10min, and out of no where comes in an Armed Security Guard, a white male about 60-65 Years of age from the looks, he starts YELLING AT ME SAYING “ GET OFF” I said excuse me? I am testing this instrument to see if I want to buy I, and then in a Insulting manor say if you Can’t play it don’t touch it! “For the record I charge $250-$500 a Sunday to professional play for churches If anyone knows their way around the organ it is me”. I said well I may want to buy this and I need to check the sound, he said, ‘ GET OFF YOU CANT TOUCH IT, or ILL UNPUG IT” as he rest his hand on his exposed Gun. I immediate get up and approach the cashier and asked to speak to the manager, she then tells me the manager just walked out and is gone.  THIS IS A RIPPED OFF! Because I was robbed of my right to the services of this store like each other customer. As the man was yelling I noticed the only black people in the store was myself, my friend, and the lady who came to hear me as I tested the instrument. The City of Roswell does have a reputation when it comes to racism, I myself am a California native, I’m not used to this type of treatment or behavior. However I could see how this could end up, the Security guard would pull his gun, or call the police, I we left, and as I was leaving, I heard the black woman telling the staff how wrong they were, and out of line. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS IS A BUSINESS that should not be supported. And this is the first time in my Life experiencing what was HATE! And pure racism, this man came out of nowhere, and the rest of the staff went right along with it,
