I told her that a person I spoke with brought up this agency so I was just giving it a try. Polly asked me who gave out the name of their agency. I should've never said the person's name because she said there was no way anyone would have referred me to her agency and she was gonna call her to set things straight. She asked for my number so she could call me back. Polly called me a few days later and told me I was lying! She said I never spoke to the person at the other agency! I told Polly that I only called because I was told about the agency by this person who said I MIGHT be able to get help. Polly talked over me and said I didn't know what I was talking about! I called Judy Rorrie(the Exexcutive Director) to complain about the way Polly spoke with me, Judy talked right over me, told me I was not in the zip code so she didn't know what to tell me then told me she was getting off of the phone! I could not believe these women were so rude and unprofessional! This is supposed to be a ministry? Would Jesus treat people like this? I think not!

I went to an agency for rental assistance. The first person I spoke with (Polly) asked me if I was within the qualifying zip code. I said no but the the agency I just came from mentioned this agency so I thought I would give it a try or see if they could refer me to another agency. Polly asked me who I spoke with. I told her the person's name. She told me that wasn't possible because that person would not give out their name! I said I just came from that agency and I was doing this on my own. Polly asked for my number, said she would speak with the person and said she would call me back.

A few days later, Polly called me and sked me to tell her about the conversation again. I repeated myself and emphasized that I was doing this on my own. She told me she spoke with the person at the agency and I must've been lying because the stories didn't match up. I told Polly that it is unprofessional to tell someone they are lying and I did not appreciate her trying to make it look like the person at the other agency was doing something wrong. I also asked how an agency with the name ministry attached to it could be ungodly.

A few days later I called the Executive Director-Judy Rorrie to complain about the way her volunteer-Polly spoke with me. Judy kept talking over me, telling me she didn't know what to tell me and I had to figure out my issue on my own. I asked her why she wouldn't let me speak, she just keep repeating herself then said she was getting off the phone!

I can not believe the unprofessional way these women spoke to me. I am surprised that a "ministry" would be so nasty!

First of all, the person who responded with BooHoo can't spell at all and their grammar is atrocious. The person who filed the report spoke correctly and was actually being kind especially after what I've heard about this organization. Second, you can't sue someone for what they say to you on the Internet or for filing a report unless it is proven without a doubt false and it costs you money or damages your reputation to a point that causes direct harm. The person's report did none of the sort. Third, even if you're using the Internet it doesn't mean you're not struggling or poor. Internet is cheap and many times free (Library, using someone else's WiFi etc) and many people need it to apply for jobs, review pay stubs, send emails, work from home etc. Fourth, this does nothing to repair the reputation of this organization due to the fact that it's pretty clear by the rage in the tone of the rebuttal it's the person getting reported on. The main issue wasn't just the unprofessionalism it's the idea that they were called liars and treated so badly when they needed help by a Christian organization. I've heard very negative things about this organization. I've heard they tell people if they pay their late fees they'll help them and when they do they are questioned like criminals about where they got the money and told they won't do what they said they would. Several people told me they had to sign an agreement which was renigged on later by the organization. Their landlords and utility companies were told when they would receive a check just to be told later they wouldn't be receiving it. Something feels wrong about this whole thing. An organization in S. Texas kept doing this and come to find out volunteers and employees were stealing from the charity coffers. I would hate to find out that's true of this place but guilty people often act embittered when called out.

I too was a victim of the same treatment these ladies are very unprofessional they have the we do it our way attitude or no way  i simply asked for the guidlines on rental assistance program i was told no with out a valid reason i cant believe that a non profit organization would be this mean and unassisting but the sad thing is there is no one to complain to but the  donators i really don't get it at all.   This organization i would almost bet there is something more deep about this organization that meets the eye.

Being spoken harshly to IS NOT a ripoff. YOU are in the WRONG FORUM!!!! Take it to FaceBook!!! All YOU have done is defame THEM and THAT can get YOU sued!!! Im pretty sure I know EXACTLY what happend. YOU went scratching around for a HAND OUT and they said No Sorry so YOU in a fit of PETTY VENGENCE go online and defame THEM to make YOURSELF feel better. Thankfully if they choose to THEY get a shot a sueing YOU for the TRIPE you have posted. Im going to email THEM and point them to YOUR POST.

If YOU thought they were 'rude" or "ungodly" then YOU havent seen them when THEY are going after someone who is INTENTIONALLY misrepresenting the truth in order to make themselves look like a better victim on a media outlet. And if YOU think YOU are safe online you are WRONG!!!! With just a court order THEY can prove beyond any doubt that YOU wrote it. So You MUST be a female because the issue is petty and NOT worth what YOU have put yourself at risk of. Must be nice to know that YET AGAIN a choice YOU have made is going to cost you. If YOU do not live in the area they can assist with then all YOU were doing is arguing JUST to argue. YOU took YOUR frustration at NO ONE helping you out on the first group who YOU had a issue with.

If THEY cannot help you then THEY CANNOT HELP YOU!! THAT is NOT a ripoff and YOU have only shown us all how unchristian YOU are. Do you even attend one of the churches THEy represent?? No, probably not. Just because THEY cannot help YOU doesnt make what they do a ripoff. YOU have shamed yourself and YOU didnt need any help doing it. Perhaps YOU should accept that not everyone is going to either be able to or want to help you. OTHERS are NOT living YOUR life, they are living THIERS. YOU seem to have enough money to use the web, how about instead of spending the time it took and resorces needed to make a FAKE POST and use that time and resources to make YOUR LIFE better instead of making it worse by putting yourself at risk for being sued.
